But yo, those rooms were straight-up stuck in the past. dusty carpets and dated furniture made it feel more like a budget motel than a beachside getaway. The broken lightbulb in the bathroom? Total buzzkill.

The stay was enjoyable primarily due to the beautiful ocean and marina views from our room. Despite some issues with dated decor and cleanliness, the location was perfect for easily accessing local attractions like the Redondo Beach Pier and The SEA Lab. We appreciated the friendly service at the pool and bar, making the experience more pleasant than it could have been.

Furthermore, the tub in the other room was a nightmare. it didn’t drain properly and left our guests standing in ankle-deep water even after it was supposedly fixed. Overall, the room appeared old and in dire need of renovation, which was really disappointing.

I stayed for 3 nights in a Deluxe King Room. The big room had air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with free toiletries. The outdoor pool had sun loungers with nice views of the marina. Breakfast at Sol was tasty, especially the pastries. Great location near the beach and whale-watching terminal!

We enjoyed a delightful three-night stay in a comfortable Deluxe Two Queen Beds room. The marina views complemented our mornings, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The Cheesecake Factory across the street was a treat! Pro tip, explore nearby eateries for great meals without breaking the bank.

The pool area was nice, but the pool itself had some debris floating around, making it less inviting. Valet service was quick and friendly. The bartender at the lobby bar had a great attitude and served tasty small plates during happy hour. Had an issue at check-in when my payment seemed declined despite the charge going through. This led to a frustrating three-hour wait at the front desk with staff who were less than responsive. The housekeeper was fantastic though, very attentive to our needs. Overall, a relaxing stay but a few service hiccups that needed addressing.
